High Voltage Bushing Well – TGZ-15/200A (15kV 200A Class)

The TGZ-15/200A Bushing Well is a high-performance insulating interface designed for use in 15kV 200A gas-insulated switchgear, ring main units (RMUs), dry-type transformers, and other medium-voltage electrical equipment. It is typically mounted on the high-voltage side of the apparatus, where it connects to either a circuit breaker, switchgear component, or the transformer’s high-voltage winding.

This bushing well supports various separable connector configurations, including:

  • Single-through bushing inserts
  • Feed-thru inserts
  • Single-way T-type surge arresters

The interface conforms to IEEE 386 standards, ensuring full interchangeability and compatibility with all compliant 15kV/200A loadbreak components. Manufactured with robust insulating materials, the TGZ-15/200A delivers superior electrical performance, mechanical strength, and long-term operational reliability in both indoor and outdoor installations.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Mechanical Installation

Drill a 65mm diameter hole on the equipment mounting panel and carefully deburr the hole’s edge to ensure smooth installation.

Weld three M10×40mm mounting studs evenly spaced on a 117mm diameter bolt circle centred on the hole.

Ensure the rubber sealing ring is undamaged, then insert it properly into the bushing well’s sealing groove.

Insert the bushing well horizontally into the opening. Align the triangular flange plate with the welded studs and fasten using flat washers, spring washers, and nuts.

Tighten the nuts evenly until the spring washers are compressed flat. Recommended torque: 30 N·m.

Step 2: Electrical Connection

Clean and lubricate the inner surface of the bushing well using an approved dielectric grease.

Install a shielded separable connector (e.g., loadbreak elbow) securely onto the bushing well interface according to IEEE 386 guidelines.
