LW15 bypass switch

The LW15 bypass switch incorporates all the advanced design features of the LW1 5 switch into acompact 3-pull bypass unit, it consists of two hookstick-operated disconnect switches mounted on agalvanized channel with a bypass blade connected across the top temminals of each switch. The bypassblade can be aranged for either right-hand (standard) or left-hand operation (optional). One mountincchannel supports the entire switch for ease of installation and uncluttered appearance. The channel canbe either cross am mounted with a backstrap or bolted directly to a aalvanized pole mounting bracketAll switches have a positive blade lock to prevent opening under high momentary current Easy openingand closing is assured by bolted braces providing consistent forces behind and in front of front latchmechanism. The bypass blade is offset 30 degrees from the plane of the disconnect blades, so that thebypass switch can be operated when the switch is mounted vertically.
