The LW15-TS switches are rated at 600 A or 900 A continuous aurent andmay be applieddirectly into the line wherever line sectionalizing is desired. The in-line tension style switchesprovides a rugged and reliable disconnect option for line sectionalzing. The silver-plated LW15 type coppertruss-type blade assenprovides superior strength and smooth reliable latching mechanism. The switchescome standard with loadbreak hook to be used with the appropriate tool for opening the switches under loadLoadbreak hooks also act as a blade alignment quide to help in safe, reliable dosing operation. UltaSlLsilicone rubber polymer insulator with crimped end fitings provides reduced weight and added durabilitfor easier installation and enhanced ruggedness in the feld. The extra long creep makes the switch ideal forhigh polution and coastal environments. The switch is equipped with teminals providing NEMA® spacing inseveral diferent directions, This allows for increased flexibility during installation depending on the applicaionrequirements.
